i believe i was listening to this around this time last year as well. time sure flies.
i think this is just quintessential shoegaze, can't think of whom to compare them to besides fleeting joys but i really don't think this is anything unique.
not to disparage it of course; its familiarity lulled me in. i've been looping this again :)
